So I’ve heard endless health benefits about green tea. It’s full of antioxidants which flushes toxins out of the body, it gets rid of water weight and that bloated tummy, and it’s high in caffeine so it will keep you going throughout the day. There doesn’t seem to be many downsides to this magic drink (plus, it’s so cute when you display it like it is below).
I’ve also heard about people drinking this tea in excess- multiple cups a day to over emphasize the benefits listed above. It’s known to speed up metabolism rapidly and make you feel thin and all around healthy.
NY Magazine reports that Kendall Jenner drinks “like 12 cups a day” of her favorite green tea brand. Is this a factor in your tiny little figure, or is it just her drug of choice?
But has anyone tried this obsessive fad? Is there such a thing as too much green tea? I’m trying it out today- I’m on cup #3 at 1:20pm. Someone stop me if my skins going to turn green or something, though.
So what do people think? Is this a fad or does it really promote healthy living?
